It’s just under 3 weeks until Josh’s 2nd birthday which I can’t quite believe. A year since this cover pic was taken. However over the last couple of months he really has become his own little person so my baby is a distant memory but what we do have is a lovely, fun and caring little boy. 

We are not doing anything really big this birthday but we have chosen a theme that we thought he would be excited by. His love of things is changing by the week, Bob the Builder, Postman Pat, Noddy, Paw Patrol, Puffin Rock, Ben & Holly and of course Peppa Pig! We settled on Bob the Builder due to his love of diggers and trucks. 
I’ve ordered some plates and tablewear from Party Pieces as Bob the Builder is not the easiest of characters still to get. I hope to do little party bags for his 5 mini pals coming along and some lunch for the boys, cake and bubbles for the adults and a toast to a brilliant boy that gives us pure joy.

On the day itself {a Thursday} we are all taking the day off, including granny. We will go for some brekkie in town and then out to the zoo. He hasn’t been since he was much smaller so I reckon he will love it. Both the Viking splash and Tayto park which we went to book only open at the weekends in winter.

We have gotten him a scooter from micro scooters and again I knew he had an interest but wasn’t sure if he could use it until we were at another party last weekend ans he wouldn’t get off the thing so I am hoping we are onto a winner there! 

We are a big believer of birthdays in our house so Josh is reaping the benefits with his builder birthday bash!
